Good Evening. We just finished our evening devotions and now it's time for our blog. We started the day the same. We've noticed everytime we try to pray before we leave an airplane goes over. Is it God saying I'm listening or Satan trying to prevent us from praying? We pray it's God! We arrived at la Limonada and started the day with a good feeling with one day under our belt. It went smoother, Thanks for your prayers! Pray for the afternoon class. They have more kids and they can be rather rowdy! The kids are special. They cling to you!! We are getting to know their stories which makes them more precious! The work crews did alot more grunt work, hauling cinder blocks & gravel either in a wheelbarrow or on our shoulders in bags. We started pouring foundation and laying block for a few bathrooms. We made our daily visits to homes. Your kids are being stretched!!. Several of them have prayed with the families, shared their testimonies, and told them how it feels being a Christian coming to this community. You would be proud! After being late the last two nights by 45min or more our supper was waiting for us when we arrived. It's so nice not to have to cook! Every small group has been taking turns serving the others. It works well! Tomorrow we will spend time again at la Limonada but also Joel is taking us to the dump. Please continue to pray for our safety. Joel will again be leading our evening devotions tomorrow night. Our yeah God' s for today are: Nick making this blog site, Kids stepping up to pray in people's homes, the rain held off during work projects, safety, Rod, Nick, and Dan K. getting the privilege to deliver bunk beds to their home visit family who have no idea it's coming, Tim, Nicole, and Mark sharing their testimonies at lunch with the teachers, your kids and their leaders are being stretched, Heather giving her testimony to the older Bible camp kids, and kids that had left Tita's school are now coming back. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Again thanks for your comments. It's great to hear your encouragement!

Happy 4th of July! Again, what a blessing to read of your day's activities! The opportunity to share your testimonies and the willingness to do so...wow! Yeah God! Thanks for all the pics! They are definitely worth a thousand words!! It is so cool to see all of you doing "grunt work" but with big smiles on your faces. And those Guatemalan children....so precious!! It is easy to see on their faces that they've fallen in love with you guys!
As always, you are in our prayers! Let the Holy Spirit continue to grow and stretch you!
Love you all!

P.S. Matthew....so good to talk to you last night! Your brothers were not happy that I took the full 10 minutes of your phone time, so on Thursday they would love to say hi. Remember when they said they were glad you were leaving and that they wouldn't miss you? They were wrong...they miss you a lot! :)
Love ya, bud!

Thanks for your faithfulness in keeping us up to date. I hope you
know what an important part of our
church you are. We love you and pray
for you daily. You are the future of
our church and it looks like it is in great hands. You may be the only Jesus some people see. Glad you are
having a good mix of hard, meaningful work and fun.

Hello- We just got your website address from your mom yesterday. It is fun to read and see what you are doing. Just wanted you to know that we are thinking and praying for you. We miss you and can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.

Maranatha Youth Group,
Thank you so much for the updates and the wonderful work you are doing in Guatemala. We've enjoyed following your experience. We pray for your continued safety and for all the people you are touching.

Thanks for your daily updates. Being in CA allowed us to keep tabs. Home safely this AM. We pray daily for you all and pray that God will "open the eyes of your hearts" as you minister to those who "have not". Bless you for that. Stay safe and listen for God to speak to you through His people that you are spending time with. Love LH/LH
Thanks for the great pictures! It is great to see what you are doing and the people you are meeting and the SMILES on your faces - 'cause we find ourselves wondering many many times a day how you are all getting along. We rejoice in the work God is doing through each of you! So many answered prayers already this week! We will continue to lift you up as that work goes on and some muscles have to be tired & sore. The Bible school kids look like they are enjoying every minute - probably wishing they could come home with you. Love them (in person) while you can! Mark & Tammy; Anna, Seth, & Luke.
The pictures once again are amazing! It looks that the kids are just drawn to you all!! The kids are so lucky to have amazing people like you to be with them this week!! praying for you all each and every day!! cant wait to see you all again!!!
Jas!! It is so good to see more pictures of you! We are so disappointed that we missed your call though. Make sure you call again tomorrow night, and if we don't answer the home phone call our cells ok? We miss you so much! Love you!
